For a year or so, I drew cartoons for the H2G2 newsletter, The h2g2 Post, under the title [PaperCuts]. FerkelTongs '... nicked all the cartoons and put them here, for posterity, ease of commenting or organising, and speed of downloading.' I have finally got round to weeding out the lesser ones and uploading clearer versions of some of the better ones, as well as annotating here, linking to accompanying articles there. One day I'll get round to adding newer and non-h2g2 work to this here wiki ... one day I might even do some new work. - spimcoot
PS. If folk would like to see more annotation I'm happy to provide. It seems a bit self-regarding but then, I am self-regarding.
My fellow cartoonist and now our very own Wowbagger drew this one when we stepped into each other's cartooning slippers, smoking jackets and thongs one week. His attempt to emulate spimcoot was far more successful than my attempt to emulate him as I completely failed to have a wife and son.
This was originally accompanied by the following text:
Below us, gentle reader, is the third and final appearance on Paper Cuts of our guest artist. Guest? But I would never have guessed! I hear you cry (I have a vivid imagination). Well, no. This artist has been a tremendous influence for me and I have been shamelessly tampering with his work this last fortnight and a half, and adding my own squalid S. And all to plug the entry I've just written about the [poor dear man], my greatest idle idol after myself. That was the link, by the way; enjoy the cartoon then go and have a look at it. Go on, I tire of you now.
Less a cartoon, more an illustration, [click here] to find out what this is about. (Not that it will help, of course.)

What ho readership at large. This week, a new old idea. Fans of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue should recognise it, and if it doesn't prove that I'm the natural heir to Willie Rushton then there'll be nothing for it but to grow that beard and dye it (can one buy grey dye?). So, the idea. Fairly straight forward really (more than most weeks in fact): take a word, redefine it. There it is, could have done it last week instead of abandoning you to dangle in the void, but I'm like a cruel and capricious god only but without the omnipotence (what we deities call omnimpotence). This feature will only crop up when I've left myself short of time, so expect to see a lot of it.
