A Lilybody History

Professor Lucian Hart, founder of the LilybodyManufactury explains the process of Lilybodying

Origins

I first had the idea of lilybodying when reading a book on human rights abuses in 1986. The book described how ~[aristocratic women in China]~ would have their feet bound in bandages when they were small, and as they grew bigger their feet were hindered in growth. The adult woman could unbandage her feet and - voila! - she had child's feet. The book dubbed such a stunted appendage a 'lily-foot'.

The Experiment

I had been researching the process of changing species from one to another, but not getting terribly far. I have a fear of blood and gore, and all that staring at DNA through microscopes was enough to give me the dickens. Once I had read about lily-footing I thought to myself, all this progress with bandages on a mere foot! Imagine what one could achieve if one bandaged the entire body!

As luck should have it, my dear wife Penelope gave birth to twin boys just three weeks later, and the experiment began. I would keep one, Anthony, as a control, whilst Nathaniel I would change. By bandaging Nathaniel's body in specific ways I was able to restrict his growth in certain directions, and encourage it in others. Before my very eyes, Nathaniel grew and mutated and warped until by his eighth birthday he resembled, in form, the shape of a parrot (I had longed for a parrot as a child, and this seemed like as good a time as any to make good on that longing).

Of course, an eight year old boy shaped like a parrot is no match to a parrot itself. I soon realised that the key was to catch the child before his pubescent growth spirt, make the final changes, and then allow nature to take its course. Using pincing shears I shredded his skin to resemble feathers. His skull - already malformed thanks to careful application of bandages - required only a few adaptations: the removal of teeth, the filing down of the jaw, the elimination of the nose... silly details like this.

Results

A few years later puberty set in and Nathaniel grew in shape and size as predicted, to resemble a parrot in all respects. Thanks to his skull and jaw adaptations he had a limited mind and even more limited vocabulary - the fortunate consequence being he resembled a parrot in speech as well as appearance.

This photo was taken last week. Nathaniel (left) and Anthony (right) are now eighteen years old:

Only the human eye cannot be changed - although we advise you cauterize the tear ducts.

Possible applications

The applications are plentiful:

Lilybody Question and Answer

Q: Can adults be lilybodied, or is there an age after which lilybodying is impossible? I'm thinking of it as an alternative to cosmetic surgery.
